Tell us a little about yourself?

I used to mess around with cans in the eighties and around the time I was at art college. After being made redundant over 25 years later and with the kids getting older decided to re-visit my art practice I have spent the last five years as an artist working with both galleries and on the street.

Best place you have painted?

I had the privilege of painting at the Akumal Arts Festival Mexico with over one hundred other street artists.

Any big plans for this year?

I am just about to enter into my second year of a Masters of Fine Art at Central St Martins, which is keeping my busy. With regards walls, I’m always excited to be at KorpFest but will also be at Upfest this year and finally painting a number of murals within schools , providing workshops and working with art as a caregiver.

Tell us your funniest moments when out painting?

Too many to mention. It’s the people you meet. I love it. In New York while painting in the East Village during December, I came across a shirtless Tony who vowed to protect my wall with his very life!
Another time while painting in Camden London I was approached at 9am by Spencer, a dapper elder gentleman and Jazz musician who was still on the party from the night before who asked to take me out for dinner and with a wink explained this could include breakfast if it ‘went well’.
The scaffolding in Mexico on the side of the highway was interesting.

Anyone you would like to collaborate with?

Too many. Do they still have to be alive? Leonardo da Vinci ?Total fantasy list of who to work with would include Nomad Clan, Guy Denning and Dan Kitchener.
