Tell us a little about yourself and what got you started painting ?
My name is Sophie, I have always painted but really seriously for the last 7 years. I’m obsessed with the way you start with nothing but materials and then build up, that magic has never left me.
Best place you have painted?
Really enjoyed my rhino for the 75 walls with Upfest, Bristol.
Any big plans for this year ?
I have an exhibition coming up on the 12-14th September, at the Mount Without Bristol, exhibiting my series of 81 goldfish that I completed within 9 days (a huge challenge).
Tell us your funniest moments when out painting ?
Probably kids… they say some pretty wild stuff 😂 not always the most tactful but I love the honesty.
Anyone who you would like to collaborate with? God that’s reallly hard… there so many artists I admire! To be honest, I think pretty much anyone. When you mesh two styles really exciting stuff starts happening.
