So last year Roots was supposed join us for her first Nue Arts fest
because of Covid this didn’t happen.
However we did get to know Roots and she ended up painting at our first ever online paint and hosted a load of workshops on our Facebook page 😍
Roots will be throwing paint around at our first live event since Covid at our Creative community collective event .

Tell us a little about yourself and what got you started painting? I
a Birmingham based artist specialising in artwork with a love for the weird and wonderful! Brum is a huge melting pot of creativity and I was lucky enough to get into the live art side of things a few years ago which quickly made me realise how much I love drawing my characters on a larger scale.
Best place you have painted?
Painting at Secret Walls was a blast and a huge milestone for me – in fact, I really enjoy the whole competitive side of live art – there’s always a wicked buzz and energy regardless of whether you win or not.
Any big plans for this year?
I can’t wait for the festival season to start – painting at these events, surrounded by epic artists is always so inspiring!
Tell us your funniest moments when out painting?
It’s always a laugh when out painting.
Anyone who you would like to collaborate with?
There’s too many to mention – but I do love a good collab! I think it’s really important to help push yourself as an artist and go in directions you might never normally take if working on your own, it’s amazing what you can learn from others.
