Nue Quick five
Tell us a little about yourself and what got you started painting ?
I studied Photography As Art Practice at Nottingham Trent University gaining 1st Class Honours. I transitioned into painting portraits and then during 2018 I travelled Asia which lead to digital imagery. Since August I’ve been in London painting murals and training at Lewisham School of Muralism.
Best place you have painted?
I painted a large mural in a cafe in Brixton, London.
Any big plans for this year ?
My next project is to paint a collaborative mural with the School of Muralism at Euston Station, this will be in the next few weeks. I will also be painting a community mural in South London in July and if I can get to Ecuador I have the opportunity to paint a mural in a hostel which I had to postpone earlier in the year due to lockdown.
Tell us your funniest moments when out painting ?
It’s funny and sad when you knock over a tin of paint and have to clean up the pavement on your hands and knees!
Anyone who you would like to collaborate with?
I’m really interested in Eco Art, so it is great to be collaborating with New urban Era. I’m very excited for the upcoming festival and meeting all of the artists involved.
