Making his Nue Debut in 2021 is K9 who joins us at North Warwickshire Recreational grounds for our Creative community collective event.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself and how you got into painting?

Only started stencilling and spray painting in 2018. Wished picked up paint can 20 years earlier!!! Initially started to have as distraction for chronic pain ( chronic arthritis in neck & spine) which found helped and as enjoyed continued creating more works. Plymouth based artist.Lucky to have taken part in some of your previous projects during lockdown and took part in Cheltenham paint festival in 2019 with mixed success. Wasnt happy with all produced but learnt a lot. Currently painting regularly in Plymouth with Plymouth Artists Together community group with numerous pieces on display in the city.

Best place painted: Cheltenham Paint Festival so far.

Any Big plans this year?

Currently creating 5 large murals (Well large for me as stencil artist) based on women of diversity /ethnicity that are going outside prominent NHS building in the city (also place have worked and for my employer) through Plymouth Artists Together which is still ongoing. Biggest project have ever taken on board

4. Funniest moment – was doing commission for community group Clikk in Plymouth on BT box in deprived area of city police turned up thinking doing illegally (in middle of the day). Told them i was too old to go running around doing covert art these days!!!

Ether RTC or pogo as they are both excellent stencil artists with unbelievable attention to detail i would certainly learn a great deal off them
