Nue quick 5
Tell us a little about yourself and what got you started painting ?
I’m self taught with zero academic qualifications, Being around art and artists always frustrated and intimidated me growing up.
I’ve always had trouble connecting with
Artists of a more conventional trained nature.
Spend most days creating stories, characters and worlds in my head it’s frustrating that in recent years I’m unable to get this stuff out there but, I’m not ungrateful to be painting for a living it’s the only thing I feel comfortable with.
I fell into the street art thing really in my late teens early 20s and suddenly felt that here was a community and art form that I could be a part of as I was only judged on the art I left behind for others to view ..not where I learnt and who taught me or what degrees I had.
I’ve always liked to innovate, learn research and eventually be able to get my can skills and style in line with my drawing style, this way I can get it out of my head and onto a wall in a freestyle manner I’m not there yet but I’m getting there.
There’s always more to learn and more to pass on to others.
Best place you have painted?
I don’t really have a favourite that’s a tough one but I’ve loved the times I’ve been painting at Tamworth it’s always one that’s the most supportive and welcoming to me.

Any big plans for this year ?
Paint on different surfaces some 3D work and more on embedded digital q. R code work to link up the online with the solid world.
Tell us your funniest moments when out painting ?
Always when I’m nervous and usually in different uncomfortable places it’s sods law!
Painting outside attracts chaos!
Loads of funnies and too many to write here one of the weirdest was when a guy just ran at me out of the blue screaming and yelling at me inaudably jumped in front of my painting and started yelling at his mate who had that many layers on they looked like they’d escaped from a medievel lepor colony, then grabbed a bag of sugar stuffed it on his head and posed in front of my painting with it balanced and his mate struggled to work her camera to take the weirdest picture of my day!
And every time I paint in Sheffield the legend that is Joe Scarborough one of the nicest artists I’ve met who’s keeps jumping out of his narrow boat and telling the public my works his,!
The man’s 80 years old! 🙂
Anyone who you would like to collaborate with?
Posea, annatomix, face the strange.
