(under 18s will need a paying adult accompanying them)

Solos

– Please state your name, country and that this is your solo wildcard for NUE24 at the start of the video (e.g. “yo its ABH from the UK and this is my NUE24 Solo Beatbox Battle Wildcard”)

– Record a 1 minute 30 second video (time starts from your 1st beatbox sound anything after 1:30 will not be judged)
– ages 12 and up

ADDITIONAL INFO

– Reigning NUE Solo Champion Stan is automatically qualified for the battles
– Reigning NUE Vice Solo Champion Conundrum automatically qualifies for the live eliminations
– 14 Solo Wildcards will qualify for the live eliminations
– 15 artists will take part in a live elimination round where 8 will go through to the 1/4 final battles and your seed will be determined by the elimination round results
– In the live battles the highest seed will get to decide who beatboxes 1st.
– In the live event there will be 2x rounds per battle, 1/4 finals and semi finals its 1:30 per round and in the final and 3rd place battle its 2 minutes. If you win in the top 8 you will battle 2 more times.
– 16th , 17th 18th ,19th and 20th place wildcard will serve as our reserves called upon in the event any qualified artists drop out. Battle order will be shifted accordingly if this happens.

Loopstation:

Please state your name, country and that this is your loopstation wildcard for NUE24 at the start of the video.

– Wildcard time limit begins from your 1st input into a device or 1st sound – loopers have between 3 and 4 minutes for wildcards.
– there must not be any pre-recorded inputs into any device prior to the start of your round

– Loopers may in addition to the RC-505 use 1x extra device within standard competition rules (please check any atypical devices with event organisers)  and unlimited midi controller both during thier wildcards and the live Wildcard Loop Judges: To be announced

Additional info
– 7 wildcard spots are available to participate in the live eliminations.
– 7 loopers will do a live elimination round to win a spot in the semi-final battles (battles will be seeded by top 4 elimination order)
– all battling loopers will battle 2x in the live events (semi and small/grand final)with 2x rounds per battle of 3-4 minutes.
– extra devices for loopers may be changed in each section of the competition e.g. a different set up for online wildcards/live eliminations/semi final/ grand or small final. Loopers must use the same setup during a battle so they may not switch devices between round 1 and 2 of the same battle. Loopers are advised they only have limited time to soundcheck and will not be permitted extra time compared to other competitors because they have more devices, choose wisley.

– Top seed will get to decide who goes 1st in live battle.
