Vic Brown from Nue says
This yeas Nue beatbox finals was nothing less than amazing . The team has been
working hard on the event for a good few months and it paid off . I would like to thank
everyone who entered this years Competition, especially the ones who didn’t make it
through the final battles. The standard this year was extremely high and we were amazed at
the amount of up and coming artists who took to the stage for the first time and we are sure
some will be future Nue champions.
That being said this year champs truly deserve their crowns after spending years
perfecting their artforms they are without doubt the ones to beat
Three visual artists Mose78 , Chunkxx and Beatfox transformed the Atik nightclub smoking
area during the day creating a fresh new look for visitors.
Deborah Hedges reviewed the event on Skiddle saying
Absolutely amazing event, giving youngsters the opportunity to make music and meet
friends they know online to share their passion for it in a professional venue with a
professionally organised event. I was particularly pleased that young people whose music is
not entirely mainstream have the chance to see it properly celebrated. Safe, welcoming, very
well organised event, and you could see the joy and enthusiasm from both competitors and
audience alike. We did a 350-mile round trip to bring my son to compete and will definitely
do it again! Thank you and well done, NUE.
