Tapping into new creatives
Part of this year’s Creative Community Tamworth project visitors at Tamworth Tap enjoyed a day of arts and music Sunday 7th August.
The event included Doodle with Korp, an online Doodle school that was created during lockdown and was a favourite on the Nue social media channels . Live art from N4T4, VR Workshops and live music performed by Dean Clinton.
Vic Brown from Nue says .
“Our second Creative community event of the year was a great success, We invited artist Korp to bring his legendary online Doodle Club live to the event and it went down a treat with 75 participants taking part over the two sessions, We couldn’t have asked for the event to have gone any better in such a great venue , Our aim is to include everyone in our Creative community projects and the over 18’s venue provided us with a unique opportunity to reach new audiences ”
Music from Dean Clinton kept the atmosphere alive during the event while artists N4T4 painted his interpretation of Tamworth’s Æthelflæd wearing our very own castle for her crown .The artwork will stay in situ at the venue for future visitors to enjoy .
Creative community Tamworth project continues in September with the Tamworth Environmental Arts festival taking place on the 10th and 11th
